Black seed oil, derived from Nigella sativa, has a rich history dating back over 2,000 years. Distillation Process

Material Preparation:
The plant material (wood, leaves, bark, or flowers) is harvested and cut into small pieces to increase surface area for efficient oil release.
Steam Generation:
Steam is passed through the plant material inside a distillation chamber. The heat causes the oil glands to break and release essential oil vapors.
Vaporization:
The mixture of steam and essential oil vapors rises and moves into a condenser unit.
Condensation:
The vapor passes through a cooling system (condenser), where it converts back into liquid form.
Oil Separation:
The condensed liquid is collected in a separator. Since oil and water have different densities, the essential oil naturally separates from the water layer.
